Implementation

ATS TimeWork Time and Attendance Implementation Overview

Migration to a new time and attendance system requires thorough planning, detailed specifications and parallel testing.

Multi-site and large-scale implementations require an ATS Project Manager to coordinate the rollout process for your organization. The Project Manager works with your project team to develop a project timeline, key milestones and other details. The Project Manager also works with other resources within ATS to fully define/design your system; schedule required training sessions, test components and transition to our Support Center upon completion of the project. Weekly project updates (conference calls and reports), as well as on-site visits help ensure a smooth implementation.

A high level outline of a “typical” implementation process follows. This is customized for each customer after a series of detailed project planning meetings. ATS can provide all of the resources necessary for your implementation or supplement the resources that you supply.

Implementation actually has its roots very early in the process, beginning with numerous need development and fact-finding meetings from both an application and a technical environment perspective. Based upon these meetings, the following list comprises of the key events in a typical ATS time and attendance deployment project:

  • A system installation document is presented to customer for review and completion
  • A “Site Survey” is done by your ATS Representative.
  • The project schedule is outlined and approved.
  • The “System Configuration” requirements are finalized, reports are approved, and the “System Configuration Agreement” is authorized.
  • Hardware is installed
  • Data converstion
  • Software training is completed.
  • Software Training Completion Agreement is signed.
  • A parallel run is conducted
  • Payroll, HR, ERP, Talent Management and/or CRM interface is implemented.
  • Completion Agreements are signed.
